We’re working hard to improve our registration process and get all the information up to date to help you plan your trip to ncyc11, so stay tuned.

But of course there’s nothing stopping you buying an ncyc11 registration now for Christmas for someone who shouldn’t miss this event. Jump onto the website now ncyc11.com.au.

NCYC office

ncyc11 is gaining momentum and we welcome Alison Cox in the role of NCYC Coordinator. It was a previous NCYC that was the catalyst for Al’s passion and call to youth and children’s ministry.

Last year Al was ordained as a Minister of the Word. She says “I’ve got a fabulous husband and two funky kids who keep me busy and grounded. I’ve been to many NCYCs and I’m looking forward to the huge opportunity and significance of an event like ncyc11.”

We’ve also got a great management committee on board to take care of the many different parts of ncyc11—program, venues, admin, marketing, people and much more!

Program dreaming day

On Saturday 5th of December a small team of youth met with the program planning team to share their dreams for ncyc11.

The team came up with lots of great ideas. As an example, here were some of the ideas suggested for afternoons:

  • soccer or touch footy championship tournament
  • current issue discussion panels
  • creative arts workshops
  • battle of the bands
  • hip hop freestyle arena
  • public art space
  • master chef cook-off
  • café chillax

…and heaps more where they came from!

We also dreamed about a massive cross cultural celebration day on New Year’s Eve and loads of different opportunities for us to build new friendships across the week.

Accommodation options

We’ve been getting lots of questions—what are our accommodation options?

So here’s the deal: click here

Congregation kit being updated

We’re in the process of updating all the program, accommodation, location and tour information that’s in the congregation pack. It’ll be a useful resource for groups to help you plan the lead up, the event and follow up to ncyc11.

Keep an eye on the website—we hope to have the congregation kit up and running in the new year.

And don’t forget—you can follow ncyc11 on facebook or twitter for the latest updates.
