- God will place upon right people to be involved in leadership and volunteer roles at NCYC.
- God will give an enthusiasm to those nominating for leadership and volunteering roles for church’s young people

I am the 81 year old Secretary of the Noosa Coastal Uniting Church Council. I am from ‘the horse and buggy days’. A former Methodist Lay Preacher and theological student in Victoria in 1949.
I worked for the NAB in a country town without electricity in 1952, and we lit the kerosene lamps when it got dark. I grew up without telephones, motor cars, radios, televisions, refrigerstors, washing machines, sewerage, air conditioning, hot water systems or daily showers (weekly baths), oh and of course no computers or internet access!
As an ‘ex-Mexican’ from south of the border, actually 2 borders, I had to ask what NCYC stood for. Now I know, I will pray for the success of the planning and the event in 2011.
I grew up in a country town, in a family that did not attend church. I did not attend church until after my conversion.
