Logan Multicultural Uniting Church Turn it Up
We thought we’d share some exciting stories of what groups are doing to get to ncyc11. Tell us about your story!
Logan Multicultural Uniting Church are sending 17 people to ncyc11. Each combined night service, someone who is going to ncyc11 shares their testimony, talking about why they’re going and what they are looking forward to.
At their next night service, some older people who have been to NCYCs 10 or 20 years ago are going to share their experiences – they believe not only does this encourage young people to go but it tells great stories of the amazing, transforming history of NCYC.
The church has agreed to pay half the registration costs, with fundraising covering the other half. Just last week a BBQ raised more than $680. Other ideas include breakfasts and concerts.
What a great effort and how exciting to see a mix of PNG, Tongan, Samoan and Fijian people embracing ncyc11!
