On Sunday night at Burdekin Uniting Church’s annual thank you dinner for volunteers, they auctioned off their nine delegates to ncyc11.

The delegates will be going in pairs to people’s homes who bought them, and doing various odd jobs like washing windows, mowing lawns and maybe even ballroom dancing!  

Over $400 was raised and a hilarious time was had by all. It not only raised money, but also raised the profile of ncyc11 in the community and will establish relationships between the older and younger members of the congregation.  

Burdekin UC is looking forward to their next venture, selling soft drinks at the local festival.
