It was my first NCYC so I enjoyed everything. Specially the Talent Quest because it really brought out some awesome talents and gave people the confidence to perform in front of us. What challeneged my faith? I would have to say what challeneged my faith was having trust in God and my highlights of NCYC would have to be New Years Eve !!!! and also the submersion I did. I got to meet so many people from different backgrounds and learnt a lot about their culture and their families and it made me think more about how much in common I had with some of them. NCYC 11 ROCKED !!!!!! missing it heaps !
I am the dad of 2 NCYCers who have returned home to Darwin engaged and challenged, which is what i hoped for. Thanks to all involved in planning and presenting. i hope it continues for a long time.
I found NCYC inpirational and heart warming as I experienced people from so many differing cultures and youth cultures belong together in harmony of purpose – to love God and to be his people together. The challenge to take this love beyond NCYC in to our various worlds was clear.
Great work NCYC 11team. And thanks to everyone from all over Australia and beyond who helped with different parts of the program like electives, communities, worship, submersions, etc.
And thanks to every one for the good vibe they shared.
