Adult Volunteers
If you’re over 25, you’re not too old! You can experience ncyc11 as an Adult Volunteer.
Here’s some info about what that means…
In order to be an adult volunteer at ncyc11 you need to:
* Be over 25 years of age by December 2010
* Hold a current working with children card appropriate for your state and register your number and details with our office
* Be willing to help out in some capacity for a minimum of 4 hours each day during the week of ncyc11
* Have a servant heart and willingness to help ncyc11 be the best experience it can be for the attendees
* Recognise ncyc11 is primarily for attendees aged 16-25, and be willing to give primary place to those in that age group i.e. ensure all attendees are seated inside an event ahead of adult volunteers, ensure the attendees receive the special gifts ahead of volunteers etc.
* Identify your own gifting and passions and let us know what capacity you would like to serve at ncyc11
* Register online as an adult volunteer and pay $150 for the registration fee
* Choose and pay for your accommodation preference
* Come to ncyc11 with an open heart and mind, and a big smile to share all week!
Some of the roles for adult volunteers include:
* Chaplains
* Ushers
* Prayer room supporters
* Registration helpers
* Community Canteen traders
* Security
* Bible Study leader hosts ie caring for the leaders
* Distributing hand antiseptic to each person before each meal
* Life guards on duty during swimming sessions

- Register and pay for ncyc11 as an adult volunteer
Adults, youth workers and youth leaders travelling with delegates and offering full-time leadership at the convention will be able to register for convention at $150 plus accommodation.
If you’re travelling with a group, you can of course stay with your group. Don’t forget to check out your accommodation options.
