The theme of ncyc11 is Turn it up.

How often do we tell our youth to “turn it down”, whether that’s their voice, their stereo, their imagination, or their opinions?

Turn it up is not just about volume but is about turning up your faith, your relationship with God and the important things in life. It’s about intentionally turning up participation in life and relationships with others.

There’s an important role in Turn it up for churches and groups too—to listen to young people’s voices, to offer opportunities to share opinions and participate, and to help youth be a part of the church today as well as tomorrow.
